Get off on the right start in 2020! Congratulations, Aspiring Missionaries, for pressing your way to the next level of training in the program. And we welcome our new aspiring missionaries who were enrolled in the program in November 2019. In the next five months, we will study and learn about The Doctrine As Taught By The Church of God in Christ, Inc. This is the second most important level of information you will need in your foundation, besides the teaching of the Old and New Testament of the Holy Bible. In studying and learning the doctrine of the Church of God in Christ, you will be taught by our Bishop, some of our Superintendents, Pastors, and our Supervisor of women with some of our District Missionaries. It will be essential that you put forth your best foot for the Lord and do your best! We will move at a slower pace so that we fully understand our doctrine and ensure we make it applicable to our lives. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. We will see you all in the classroom on Saturday the 4th. Happy New Year 2020!
This year's theme for our women in the department is " Opened Eyes: The Light of Christ Shining Through."
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Often it is said that the eyes are the window to the soul. If the eyes are the window to your soul, what will people see in you as they look into your eyes? Will the light of Christ shine brightly, or will there be the presence of darkness? And if there is darkness, how much of your soul is darkness? I pray for each of us that as we grow in His grace daily that those parts of us that are in darkness, that darkness will be driven out of us as we allow the light of Christ to come in more. I foresee that 2020 will be a great year as you believe in and apply the teachings of the Word of God. Hold tight to the promises of God, keep your eyes on Jesus, forgive one another, pray about everything before moving forward with decisions, wait on the Lord and let us humble ourselves through fasting and praying, and love one another. We are the family of God; let nothing separate us from each other. Remember, we are not each other enemy, but Satan is our enemy. Therefore, rebuke the Devil and cast him out of your presence. In Christ Jesus, you have been given power and authority in Jesus' name. In 2020, let's stand and be the people of God. He has made us as new creatures in Christ Jesus. Jesus Power in 2020!!
