Jurisdictional Department Of Women Ministry
MISSION STATEMENT
JDOW MINISTRY is a certificating and licensing element of our women's department for women in ministry and adult education, primarily for those called to Christian ministry in a leadership capacity. We exist to provide advanced training and teaching in biblical and doctrinal studies, ministry skills, and leadership training so that the candidate may be prepared to do the work of the ministry.
VISION STATEMENT
To give students a thorough intellectual and spiritual knowledge of the Word of God, Ministry Training, and Opportunity for Ministry. To provide an understanding of Bible doctrine and Bible Truth. To provide knowledge and understanding of the Church of God in Christ's church History and Doctrine. So that the student may be wise in appropriating that truth to their lives, as well as teach so. To video record complete women in ministry training and laywomen learning center teaching series for the local, district, and jurisdictional body of Christian women. To organize ongoing spiritual training and teaching for Christian women's ministry to bring on unity and growth within our women's department.
FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURES
2 Timothy 2:15- Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Peter 1:10- Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fail.
Colossians 3:23-24- And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
2 Timothy 2:3-5- Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strives for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strives lawfully.
2 Timothy 4:2, 5- Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. But watch thou in all long-suffering and doctrine. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Psalm 68:11- The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
