MISSIONARY LICENSE CLASSES
History of the Church of God In Christ, Inc.
In the year 1911, four years after the Incorporation of the Church as a Pentecostal Holiness denomination, the Church of God In Christ established.... All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for license.
The doctrine of the Church of God in Christ: This is the foundation of the Church and what we believe. All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for license.
Church of God in Christ Women's International Handbook: This is the study of the structure, history, foundation, procedures, and dress code of the Women's Department. All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for license.
History of the Church of God in Christ Department of Women: This is the study of the department and the women of God who paved the way for us. All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for license.
Requirements From The International Women Department For Those Seeking Licensing:
1. Licensing and Credentials Request Form
2. Completion of the Sexual Misconduct Training Course
3. Criminal Background Check
Old Testament Survey: It is the study of the first division of the Christian Holy Bible. All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for a license.
New Testament Survey: It is the study of the second division of the Christian Holy Bible. All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for licensing.
Church Protocol and Saintly Decorum: How we are to behave ourselves as missionaries in the church, outreach, speaking engagements, altar, and communion services.
Christian Leadership: A course about leadership in the church. All Aspiring Missionaries must take this course before being recommended by their pastor to our Women's Department for a license.
On The Job Training: This class consists of training in specific areas in the local church, district, and jurisdiction. All Aspiring Missionaries must work the work of the ministry in the local church and be trained on the job. It is mandatory that they support the vision and work of their pastor. Before being recommended by their pastor to our women's department for licensure, they must fulfill these requirements with the approval of their pastor.
Intercessory Prayer: This class consists of teachings on prayer, fasting, types of prayer, and the ministry of intercessory prayer. All Aspiring Missionaries must be an active part of the prayer ministry in their local church and supporter of the Jurisdictional Prayer Conference in your District monthly. It is mandatory that you attend it and support it. Before being recommended by their pastor to our women's department for licensure, they must fulfill this requirement with the approval of their pastor.
